Vital to any mission or ministry are caring Christians willing to meet the needs of others. As we continue to explore kingdom-living, think about the opportunities you have to serve, locally, nationally, and globally. Talk and pray about how and where you’re being called to serve. Remember to look inside the box, too. Minister to others within SCC – many opportunities exist.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Acts 1:8 (NIV)

Relying on God’s grace, not our own power, we go around the globe to bring real transformation through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. International trips are ongoing and are frequently in direct support of the missionaries SCC supports. Senders are a vital part of each short term mission trip. Please provide support as a team communicator, trainer, supply coordinator, or fund-raiser. Prayer partners are also an exciting way to come along side a short term missionary.
SCC partners with the following missionaries overseas:
Wayne & Rosa Miller—Serving with Wings of Mercy in Honduras in partnership with the Reformed Church in America

Albino & Sandy Rodriguez – Serving La Casa del Maestro in Cusco, Peru, in partnership with the Reformed Church in America. Click here to read an update from Albino and Sandy.
We are all called to missions to share the message of God’s love for His people. It is an opportunity to go, to send, to pray, and to share the love we have in Jesus Christ. Missions not only affect those around us, but it can also have a profound impact in our own lives as well. Mission is God working through us, and in us, to achieve His will. All we have to do is take the first step—He’ll handle it from there.
