Welcome to Women's Ministry at Springs Community Church
Women's Ministry is an opportunity for women to meet their spiritual and social needs by joining with other women who have the same interests. Many activities are used as outreach to friends, neighbors and co-workers who may not have a church family and might appreciate an opportunity to fellowship with other women before they decide to try a Sunday service. The Women's Ministry "team" meets the first Tuesday of each month, 6:30 p.m., in Room 114. All are welcome to attend and become part of a fun "small group" that is focused on ministering to the women of the church and beyond.
Book Club
Women’s Book Group returns Sept. 8 - Discussion will be about the book Atonement Child by Francine Rivers. Meeting time is 6:30pm. For location, contact Pam Gamer at 260-6081.
P.E.A.R.L. Girls
A great fellowship for gals 50 or older. Meets the first Saturday of the month, 9:00 a.m. at Easy Street Cafe in The Hub (just east of the church). Come and feast on breakfast, fun, and fellowship. Contact Jan Renz at 268-1437 for information.
Springs Community Church Women’s Ministry Retreat
April 17, 2010 at the Franciscan Retreat Center Cost $45 per person
The Women’s Ministry Retreat is your opportunity to support and encourage other women to deepen their relationships with each other and our Lord. Guest Speaker, Laurra Fitzgerald, will deliver a powerful message about our lives, our struggles and how we become broken in the process, and God’s healing and restoration of our broken lives. We will participate in a Labyrinth walk, a place to pray, heal and deepen ones awareness of our “Kingdom” journey.
