Welcome to Days of the Kingdom

Birthed out of a realization that Jesus’ BIG idea taught in the New Testament is the most under-taught in today’s church, the Days of the Kingdom study focuses on the biblical beliefs and principles regarding the Kingdom of God. This study is designed to help you be more biblical in your practice of following Christ and living life in the manner He taught. If you focus on John 14:12 where Jesus said, “I tell you the truth. Anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing.” So, let’s do what He did!

What is Days of the Kingdom?

Days of the Kingdom is a 50-day study of Jesus’ Big Idea—the Kingdom of God! Written by Pastor Eric Carpenter, the study is arranged in daily readings and weekly group discussions, participants will be engaged in a comprehensive follow-up to the Alpha Course. The “seeds of the Kingdom” are planted in the Alpha Course and brought to fruition in the Days of the Kingdom course. Our 50-day study begins April 7.

What happens at the DOK Course?

Each class meeting begins with a meal in The Attic at SCC providing a chance to relax and get to know others. There is then a short time of worship with people enrolled in the Alpha Course. Then the DOK participants will meet in the Upper Room for discussions of the previous weeks readings. There will be a larger group presentation followed by a time of discussion in small groups of about 8 people. Everyone is welcome to contribute their opinion, ask questions and discuss with the rest of the group.

Each week?

Beginning April 7:
Dinner & Worship time: 6:00 p.m.
Large Group Talk: 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Table discussions and Ministry time: 7:30—8:00 p.m.

What is the cost?

$10 for materials and donation for meal each week.

Nursery for babies/toddlers

Fun program for elementary age

Middle schoolers welcome at Revive!

Can I invite friends?

Certainly! You are encouraged to invite other Christians interested in deepening their walk with Jesus.
