Children's Ministry
Our Mission
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 26:19
We plan to accomplish our mission through TEAM:
Teaching the Word of God.
Evangelizing in the Community.
Assisting the family.
Mentoring each child.
We love teaching the Word of God to your child! We want to teach the word with integrity, relevance, fun and creativity. We believe that the ”Word of God is living and active” (Hebrews 4:12); that it guides our feet (Psalm 119:105); that it guards our hearts (Psalm 119:11) and that it points us to a relationship with Jesus (John 5:39). Our prayer is that the Bible would become every child’s guide book for life.

All children (except Nursery) will be placed in the class of the age and/or grade that they will be in by September 15th of any given year. Classrooms will be closed if they go over our child/volunteer ratio.
Volunteer Opportunities
Position: Lover of the Lil Ones
Responsibilities: Greet each child and their parents as they arrive, give each parent a beeper, and get any special instructions from the parent. Then the fun begins...you get to play ball, read books, cuddle, and coo while you nurture the littlest members of SCC. Do not worry about dirty diapers, we leave that to Sheri.
