Thanks for taking the time to learn more about Springs Community Church on the web. As a community church in Colorado Springs we believe that grace, our gift from God, is all about how God gives us what we need to live the same kind of life Jesus lived. By grace we live each day of our lives, getting an interior life that more and more reflects the inner life Jesus had. And by grace we go back out to the streets to bless others with the same grace that has blessed us. We are committed to live our lives by God's grace and then bless others with God's incredible grace.
We meet on Sunday mornings at 8:45am & 10:30am, with the middle school youth meeting upstairs during the 10:30am service. High school students meet on Sunday nights. If there is anything you can't find, feel free to contact us. We'd love to answer any of your questions!

Meet Shannon Powell
Shannon Powell is the newest edition to the Springs Community Church staff, joining us as our Children’s Ministry Director. Shannon graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in education and received her teaching credentials from UCLA. Thrilled to be in Colorado, Shannon would appreciate prayer for God’s guidance of where and how to lead SCC Children’s Ministry. For the leaders, volunteers, parents, and children that are a part of SCC Children’s Ministry and for all of us to work together so that we may glorify Him.

Monthly happenings
Storytime with Pastor Ben on July 22 - Tuesdays and Thursdays
Children of all ages, accompanied by a favorite adult, are invited to enjoy a fun, creative and engaging story hour every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 10:30-11:30am in the atrium. Contact Pastor Ben.
School Supplies Collection
Could a carpenter do his job without a hammer? Children need tools to help them succeed in school! Remember the anticipation of the first day of school? Remember the joy of gathering your school supplies the night before and getting everything ready? Northern Churches Care is collecting school supplies for their July 31 Health Fair and Back-to-School Program. This is an annual event aimed at helping those in need in our community to prepare for school. You can pick up a copy of the supplies list at the table in the church atrium on July 11 and 18. SCC will be collecting the school supplies in the church atrium.
Register for Financial Peace University
Get your financial house in order by attending FPC this fall. Students can obtain the required materials by logging on to daveramsey.com. The materials are on sale now for $89.95. Anyone planning on taking the class can order their materials now. If anyone has questions, please call Rex Schultz at 590-1705 or Mary Casey at 332-4484.
Summertime happenings
Creation Adventure Camp - July 26-30
Please join us in July for "Creation Adventure Camp." Children in 3rd through 6th grade are welcome to register now. The cost is only $15.00 per child ($25 per family) for five mornings (9am-12pm) of fun. Please print and mail the atached Registration Form, or deliver it directly to the church.
